Crawley Men’s Shed have been helping the Danny Gallivan Trust to refit an old double-decker bus to be used as a safe haven, kitchen, social space and dormitory to support those that may find themselves rough sleeping.

Work started at the beginning of 2018 and the shedders have used their wide and varied skills to complete the majority of this work.

The bus will move around the town overnight to distribute hot meals and a safe space for the night.
